Tartan Information
This is a universal tartan. That means it does not have any clan or other affiliation. You do not need to have any special historical or ancestral connection to wear it. From the Scottish Registry of Tartans:
“This tartan was designed by Brad Wilson, bagpiper and advocate for mental health suicide awareness. The tartan is dedicated to those who fight the invisible battle every day. Teal and purple are often colours used to represent suicide awareness and feature prominently in this design along with a white stripe intended to represent hope.”
